By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.1. Ownership and Use of FootageAll footage and content created by Lakeside Drone and media is the sole property of Lakeside Drone. We grant our clients a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the footage for personal or commercial use. Clients are not allowed to sell or license the footage to a third-party without written permission from our company.2. Compliance with Laws and RegulationsLakeside Drone and Media adheres to all laws and regulations regarding the operation of drones within Canada. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the intended use of the footage complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to airspace restrictions, privacy laws, and intellectual property laws. Lakeside Drone will not operate any Drones in violation of Transport Canada regulations. Required permissions will be obtained in accordance with Transport Canada rules and regulations. For cases where additional fees are required such as in TC approval for airspace restrictions or cases of similar nature, the client agrees and accepts all additional charges.3. SafetyAll our drone operators are licensed by Transport Canada (TC) with Basic or advanced RPAS Licenses. All drone footage operations have the option to be insured with Drone Liability insurance (up to $1M liability) through skywatch.ai.Lakeside Drone prioritizes safety in all aspects of our operations. Clients must ensure the safety of the public, property, and wildlife during the use of the footage. Clients must also obtain all necessary permissions and permits before using the footage in any public or private space.4. Mileage and Travel ExpensesAdditional charges for travel (i.e. mileage) will be accounted for in all quotes and packages that are scheduled beyond a 50km (one-way) distance from Lakeside Drone and Media (HQ) located at 9570 Islington Ave, Vaughan, Ontario. Mileage fees will account for the two-way travel distance, to and from site. Mileage fees will be quoted at $0.50/km. Additional mileage charges will only apply for distances beyond 50km (two-way).i.e. For a 250km total (two-way) trip, mileage fees will apply to 250 - 50 km = 200km.Additional charges may be quoted for destination locations or locations where overnight accommodations are required. Additional fees will be made available and must be agreed to the client and Lakeside Drone and Media prior to filming date.5. LiabilityLakeside Drone and Media is not liable for any damages, injury, or losses resulting from the use of our services or footage. Clients assume all risks associated with the use of the footage and are responsible for obtaining any necessary insurance coverage.6. Payment and CancellationClients agree to pay a deposit equivalent to 50% of the total purchase cost at the time of booking, with the other 50% of the total purchase cost due at the time of service or as otherwise agreed upon in writing. Alternative payment methods may be arranged as agreed upon by the client and Lakeside Drone.Cancellation of services must be made in writing (email or text) at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled service, otherwise subject to a loss of the deposit for all “no shows”. Services may be rescheduled without penalty at least 8 hours prior to the selected service start date. Deposits made for rescheduled services are non-refundable.7. Dispute ResolutionAny disputes arising from the use of our services or footage will be resolved through binding arbitration or through agreement between Lakeside Drone and Media and the disputing party and the client .8. Modification of Terms and ConditionsLakeside Drone and Media reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes in writing and will be required to agree to the modified terms and conditions before further use of our services or footage.By using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.
